Melbourne Cabaret Festival Roadshow: Live at The Count's

Melbourne Cabaret Festival unites with Monash Performing Arts Centre to present Australia's best cabaret talent across five shows in The Count’s this October. The limited season includes drag, jazz, comedy and pop performances.

Join Melbourne’s award-winning cabaret duo Jens Radda and Iva Rosebud for an unforgettable show of soaring live vocals, laugh out loud comedy, razor-sharp wit and dazzling dance numbers.

With a setlist featuring the timeless tunes of Sinatra, Piaf, Porter and Bassey, every moment will have you sitting on the edge of your seat and singing along.

Jens Radda, famed for Skank Sinatra (winner of Best Cabaret at Adelaide Fringe), and Iva Rosebud, the iconic Tradie By Day, Drag Queen By Night, have toured the world, stamping their mark on every capital city in Australia as well as internationally in Copenhagen and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. This glamorous duo are the hottest ticket in town.

Also appearing: Charlee Watt

Hailing from regional South Australia, Charlee began attending the Adelaide Cabaret Festival aged 11, and by the age of 16 was the recipient of the Festival’s Nathaniel O’Brien Class of Cabaret scholarship where she was touted as “One to watch”. This opportunity was also the beginning of regular yearly appearances on the stage of maestro piano man Dr Trevor Jones, in the Quartet Bar, sharing the stage with an array of artists including friend and inspiration, Mama Alto.

Charlee has completed three Adelaide Fringe seasons with acclaimed tributes to Joni Mitchell, Carole King and Mama Cass Elliot and is recipient of this year’s Encore CabFringe award. In 2024, Charlee’s hire of a fab jazz band led to her new award-winning show, Beating up The Beatles.

Her second tour in Melbourne, following her Victoria debut at Mama Alto’s 2023 12th Annual Holiday Special, Charlee Watt brings The Count’s a petit degustation of some of the songs she has loved performing in her Fringe Cabaret shows so far.
